We have what you want for your accommodation in Lugo. A peaceful place, modern and practical, excellent value for money and, situated next to the emblem of the city: its walls. So close that even our name is identified with one of the gateways in the city walls: Puerta de San Pedro (St. Peter’s Gate).
The Exe Puerta de San Pedro Hotel is a modern, seven-storey establishment with 36 rooms, all of which are exterior, with plenty of natural light and provided with basic equipment such as air conditioning, TV, Internet connection, mini-bar, etc. We also provide triple rooms and rooms adapted for the disabled.
We boast an unbeatable location, completely central, next to the Lugo city walls and opposite the main bus station. The friendliness of our personnel is also one of the attributes most valued by our guests.
In addition, through an agreement with an excellent, nearby restaurant, we provide a catering service. The establishment serves the typical, homely food of the region.
The Lugo walls, declared a Human Heritage Site in 2000, are the only Roman city walls still standing in their entire perimeter. Built in the year 13 B.C. to ensure Roman dominion throughout the northwest Iberian Peninsula, the walls are two kilometres in length, with 85 turrets. The hotel is situated opposite the city’s bus station and approximately 1,000 metres from the railway station. The university campus is a short distance away, easily reached on foot. The exhibition site is about 5 kms. from the hotel.
