From the airport
The closest airport to Ikonik Plaza Mercado is Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport, which is about two hours away. The fastest route is exiting Madrid on the M-40 and then joining the A-6 towards A Coruña. About 20 kilometres later, take exit 81 onto the AP-51 towards Ávila, and later, exit 11 onto the A-50 towards Salamanca.
The easiest way to get to the hotel is entering the city on the Madrid Road N-501. At the Leonardo da Vinci roundabout, take the first exit in order to cross the bridge over the river and keep going straight along Paseo del Tormes. Following the signs to the city centre, you’ll reach Pozo Amarillo Street. Turn left and you’ll reach the Plaza del Mercado, where Ikonik Plaza Mercado is located.
From the train station
The Salamanca train station is about 20 minutes on foot from Ikonik Plaza Mercado. To get to the hotel, take Paseo de la Estación Street and then Gran Vía. Turn left at San Julián Square and keep going straight until you reach the Plaza del Mercado.

From the bus station
If you want to get to the Ikonik Plaza Mercado hotel from the bus station, head towards the city centre along Filiberto Villalobos Avenue and continue straight through Ramón y Cajal Street and Plaza de las Agustinas y Prior. When you reach the Plaza Mayor, walk through the portico and you’ll see the Mercado Central building. The hotel is located just behind that building, on the Plaza del Mercado.
